Non-Alcoholic Layered Drinks (Three-Layer Grenadine Lemonade & Blue Raspberry)

Non-alcoholic layered drinks with three vivid jewel-toned layers stacked cleanly in a clear glass: deep red grenadine, golden lemonade, and bright blue raspberry. This virgin layered drink uses a spoon-float technique for distinct layers that stay separated—no bleeding, no stirring, ready for parties.

Ingredients

Grenadine syrup
  • 0.25 cup grenadine syrup Use chilled if your syrup is room temperature to help layers separate cleanly.
Lemonade
  • 0.5 cup lemonade, chilled Keep cold for sharper layer boundaries.
Blue raspberry sports drink or blue raspberry lemonade
  • 0.25 cup blue raspberry sports drink or blue raspberry lemonade, chilled Cold helps float and prevents mixing between layers.
Ice cubes
  • 1 ice cubes Fill the glass almost to the top to anchor the layers.
Garnish
  • 1 maraschino cherries and striped straws for garnish Add on top at the end; do not stir after serving.

Method

Build the layers
  1. Fill a tall clear glass with ice cubes almost to the top.
  2. Pour grenadine syrup slowly over the ice; it will sink to the bottom as the first layer.
  3. Gently pour the chilled lemonade over the back of a spoon held just above the ice to create a clean middle layer.
  4. Pour the blue raspberry drink over the spoon in the same way to float it as the top layer.
  5. Garnish with a maraschino cherry and a striped straw and serve immediately without stirring.

Notes

For the sharpest separation, use lemonade and blue raspberry drink straight from the fridge and pour slowly—let each layer settle for a moment before adding the next. Store any leftovers covered in the refrigerator up to 24 hours, but note layers will blend once chilled and stirred; do not freeze. Dietary swap: for a lower-sugar version, use no-sugar-added lemonade and blue raspberry lemonade.
